Taken from her eagerly awaited upcoming brand new album this is the first time since her success in the 1990’s that Sinitta has put pen to paper, hit the studio and written a series of original songs that allow her to express the highs and lows of her life to date whilst never drifting too far away from the fun loving and unique person that millions around the world know and love her for. She feels it is now her time and chance to express how she feels and who she really is and as she says in her own words, “being a fighter with no courage but my faith and praying for love and fun forever”.
The album will touch on many of Sinitta’s life experiences including growing up as an ethnic minority in a segregated music and television industry, being female and vulnerable but with attitude, as a straight ally within the LGBT community, as a pastor in the Hillsong Church, a hopeless romantic and above all a mother.
Aside from ‘Shine With Pride’ being an absolute dance floor anthem it specifically highlights Sinitta’s mission to bring equality and awareness to the LGBT community to which she is a longstanding ambassador and has affectionately earned the title, ‘Godmother of Pride’.
Pride in London have teamed up with Avenoir and Sinitta to officially name it as their anthem for this year’s festivities.
‘Shine With Pride’ is the first single of a series of songs to be released in line with the anticipated publication of ‘Who Put The Sin in Sinitta?’ her Video Book aka ‘Vook’ which will be presented in conjunction with a major leading media publisher this year.
